A Reiki healing session with animals differs from Reiki with humans in that humans lie down on a massage table or sit comfortably in a chair and relax. An Animal Reiki session may be in a freer setting. I am in a calm, peaceful state during the Reiki session, because animals are very aware and sensitive to the energy around them.

I use the Let Animals Lead Approach during a Reiki session. In the Let Animals Lead method animals are given control of the session in that they choose whether they want a Reiki session. I follow their cues. The animal decides if it wants physical touch, and the animal can move freely during the session. An animal may move around, go into another room or be at a distance, or sit next to me or on me. I will not be in a dominant position over an animal.  I try to be on the same physical level as the animal, and in a harmless body position. Regardless of whether the animal is close to me or at a distance, the animal receives Reiki.

I offer distance or in person animal Reiki sessions. I can travel to your location to work with an animal. I offer 30 and 60 minute sessions including a free consultation. Prior to the session I want to get the animal(s) name (if there is one), species, breed (if you know this), age, and any specific areas you would like me to focus on.
